About Us
Welcome to the Clinical Education Researchers' Group at Cambridge University Clinical School.
We are researchers from multiple health professions with different educational backgrounds, united by the interest and engagement in clinical education research.
Our research includes, but is not limited to four areas,
- Artificial Intelligence, Technology and Simulation
- Curriculum Development
- Creativity and Reflexivity
- Transprofessional Clinical Education
These four areas are all described on this website under 'Research Groups', and the individual researcher has described their interests and ongoing research results under 'Find a Researcher'.
The clinical education research group includes a large number of smaller or larger research projects. A common feature for them all is that they seek researcher engagement from the people who might benefit from the research results. The learning and teaching needs are constantly changing with the needs of society, needs of students, faculty, supervisors, admin supporters, and everyone else involved with curriculum delivery. Our projects reflect and seek understanding of and educational solutions for these changes. A shared educational principle for all our projects is the aim to give novice researchers a chance to grow their skills, and in this way we are constantly building capacity for educational research.
Under 'Latest Publications', you can see some of the most important education research papers published by members of this group, but you are always very welcome to contact us for a chat about your interests in clinical education research.
